The Committee for Economic Justice

The Commitee began in January, 1997 with a pulic lecture by Donald Bartlett, the co-author of America, Who Stole the Dream?  It is trying to raise public awareness abou the current economic realities in our country, the global economy, and the widening gap between rich and poor both in our country and abroad.  Its current focus is on World Bank and International Monetary Fund debt forgiveness for the world's most impoverished countries.  It is working closely with Jubilee 2000/USA.
